You can use rekordbox or Serato DJ Lite DJ software for free by connecting your PC/Mac to the DDJ-FLX4 to complete your DJ setup. If you want to upgrade to Serato DJ Pro, you can purchase a license or subscription for the premium version of the software.
 Whether you want to connect to a PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad or Android phone or tablet, the DDJ-FLX4 is designed to be versatile. What's more, if you're using the controller with rekordbox for iOS/Android, when the update arrives in early 2023, you'll be able to connect to your device via Bluetooth or USB. So there's nothing stopping you from trying your hand at DJing.
 The DDJ-FLX4's control layout makes it easy to learn DJ skills, and is inherited from Pioneer DJ's professional products. Everything is simple to use and uncluttered, making the controller compact enough to take anywhere you want to practice or perform.
 If you don't know how to mix, don't worry, you can get started right away with the Smart Fader function, which automatically adjusts the volume, bass volume and BPM of your music, allowing you to easily switch between tracks simply by moving the channel faders or crossfader. Plus, with Smart CFX, you can simply turn a knob to apply a combination of effects that add drama to your sound.
 rekordbox is compatible with multiple streaming services, so you can choose from millions of tracks available across TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming and SoundCloud Go+ (subscription required) and mix them together on the DDJ-FLX4. You can also use a range of performance features and effects to spice up your favourite songs and create your own sound.
 The DDJ-FLX4 makes it easy for you to MC or sing during your sets, because it mixes the audio for you. This lets you connect the controller to a single device and hear the sound of the mix along with the sound from the microphone – as long as you don’t connect a Bluetooth device.
