 The DM-40D speakers deliver balanced, punchy bass sound and can pump out extra power when you need it, as each unit is loaded with a new Class D amplifier and 4-inch woofer. Flip the switch to switch between DJ and production modes, and the DSP settings will automatically adjust to create the best sound for each application. Each DM-40D speaker produces pure, balanced bass sound, thanks to a new Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP. Another advance over the DM-40 is the updated DECO convex diffuser design, which helps deliver crystal-clear high frequencies in every direction, so you can enjoy a wide sweet spot and 3D stereo sound wherever you sit in the room. The woofer and tweeter are perfectly aligned, so you can hear all audio frequencies clearly. Grooves on the ducts reduce air friction for tight, punchy bass, even when placing the speakers against a wall. Additionally, curved front edges provide maximum rigidity and minimal resonance, for clean audio at any volume level. The 4" woofer creates powerful sound without distortion, even when you turn the volume all the way up.
