Since its launch in 1979, Ortofon has continuously refined the Concorde line, releasing over a dozen DJ-specific models, which by the mid-1980s had become an industry standard.
In recent years Ortofon has decided to completely redesign the Concorde series in collaboration with some of the best international DJs, to create a new range capable of satisfying the needs of the modern professional DJ.With decades of experience in industrial design and technological know-how, Ortofon presents the new and exciting Concorde MkII series.
The new Concorde series consists of 5 models: MIX, DJ, CLUB, SCRATCH and DIGITAL. Five cartridges for as many applications, each capable of providing the best performance in the category, and equipped with the latest Ortofon technologies.
All models include new features including a reinforced, streamlined lift lever that is easily replaceable by the user; a larger body that provides better tracking stability; and a more secure stylus attachment with tactile feedback that lets you feel when it’s properly engaged. Additionally, a wide stylus aperture prevents dust build-up and provides a better view of the groove when placing the stylus on the record.
